2X Global Member Code of Conduct

Our member Code of Conduct is intended to articulate the values and norms, which are foundational to 2X Global’s culture. Clear expectations help us generously offer mutual support, foster learning and curiosity, disagree productively, and share experiences candidly.

Actively engage.

• As an action oriented organisation, we expect and value our members’ active engagement and commitment to advancing Gender Lens Investing.

• Prolonged inactivity as well as limited intentional commitment will prompt an initial dialogue. Where there is no visible actionable change or if found liable to “pinkwashing”, we reserve the right to terminate membership. 

Be values led.

• We strive for collective impact, invite curiosity and support for each other by building meaningful relationships, forging collaborations and amplifying fellow member’s impact outcomes.

• We welcome contrarian thinking, handle different approaches with humility and we will raise our disagreements with respect and integrity. 

Exercise confidentiality. 

• In honour of our 2X community, confidentiality is the foundation within which we operate and communicate to uphold privacy and nurture trust. 

• We will refrain from disclosing any information of the members or information shared by members within the community, without explicit consent from those involved.

Engage in purposeful sharing.

• As part of a global community, who firmly believe we’re stronger together, we will be intentional when sharing our voice, expertise or time. 

• We are a share not sell platform, and will withhold from overwhelming other members with the primary intention of fundraising. 

Practise zero-tolerance.

• In our community we provide a safe space for sharing and collaboration. Therefore, we do not tolerate any form of violence, harassment including sexual harassment, discrimination and abuse of power and authority. 

• Any such allegations of misconduct reported are taken seriously and we reserve the right to terminate membership.

Lead with mutual respect. 

• As part of an inclusive, innovative and collaborative community, we value each other’s diverse voices, expertise, experiences and time. 

• This extends outside of our events as well, where you will represent 2X and lead, aligned with our values.
