Overview
The 2X Global Summit is the annual convening of 2X Global members and strategic partners, aimed at fostering member connections, driving collaborations, and advancing meaningful actions to close the global gender financing gap. Since 2018, with the support of our community, we have mobilised over US$34 billion in gender lens investments, demonstrating our collective impact and commitment to drive action on gender-smart capital.
This year’s summit will be hosted in partnership with Global Affairs Canada and FinDev Canada and will take place in Montréal, Canada from September 15-17, 2026.
The 2026 theme, Grounded Capital, Global Partners, explores the key role of the 2X Global community in today’s financial system. At a time when impact investing and gender equity initiatives face headwinds, the message is clear: here is a community united in its commitment to GLI, grounded in the growing body of evidence that demonstrates the financial, social, and economic benefits of investing in women and girls.

Sept 15 | Ecosystem Engagement
Invitation-only sessions focused on advancing collaboration around key topics, followed by a welcome reception bringing together the global 2X community and local ecosystem leaders.
Sept 16 | Day 1 - Opening Plenary
Keynote speech, panel discussions and interactive thematic deep dives bringing the whole 2X Global community together to explore opportunities, challenges and ways to scale up gender-smart innovations.
Sept 17 | Day 2 - Working Sessions & Closing
Interactive member-led sessions facilitating knowledge sharing to foster deeper engagement within the 2X Global network.
